2023年10月〜2024年2月にかけて、欧州留学中の私は「不確実な状況下における最適解の導出」をテーマに、ポーカー（ノーリミット・テキサスホールデム）を実践的なプロジェクトとして遂行しました。これは単なる遊興ではなく、確率・統計に基づくゲーム理論と、数十万ハンドの解析データに裏打ちされた戦略的投資です。学業という本分を遵守するため、「総プレイ時間 175時間52分」という厳格なリソース制限を設けつつ、世界8都市の異なるフィールド特性に適応しながら計26セッションを展開しました。結果、一時的な最高ROI（投資利益率）は927.125%を記録し、最終的に532%のROI、計€5,056（約90万8千円）の純利益を計上。時給換算で約5,200円（€28.75）という高水準なパフォーマンスを維持しました。 感情を排し、期待値（EV）を積み上げるこのプロセスで培った冷徹な判断力とリスク管理能力は、現在のビジネスにおける戦略立案の礎となっています。 During my study abroad in Europe from October 2023 to February 2024, I undertook no-limit Texas Hold’em poker as a practical project under the theme of “deriving optimal solutions under uncertainty.” This was not a form of mere recreation, but a strategic investment grounded in game theory based on probability and statistics, supported by the analysis of hundreds of thousands of hands. To ensure that my academic responsibilities remained paramount, I imposed a strict resource constraint of a total playing time of 175 hours and 52 minutes. Within this limit, I conducted 26 sessions across 8 cities worldwide, adapting my strategy to the distinct characteristics of each environment. At its peak, my return on investment (ROI) temporarily reached 927.125%, and I ultimately closed the project with an ROI of 532% and a net profit of €5,056 (approximately ¥908,000). This performance corresponds to an effective hourly rate of about ¥5,200 (€28.75). The emotionally disciplined process of consistently maximizing expected value (EV), while suppressing impulsive reactions, enabled me to cultivate a cold-headed decision-making style and robust risk management skills. These capabilities now serve as a core foundation for my approach to strategic planning in business contexts.
