ARToy: Fruit Gun
**Fruit Gun** is a prototype in the **ARToy** series that explores tangible interaction for creative mixed reality experiences. The experience uses a custom cardboard gun equipped with a **Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)** controller, transforming a simple physical prop into an intuitive AR creation tool. Rather than functioning as a traditional weapon, the controller launches virtual fruit that can be used to decorate an AR cake positioned within the physical environment. The duration of each trigger press determines the size of the generated fruit. After releasing the trigger, the fruit is launched into the scene using a physics simulation, allowing users to freely build playful cake decorations through natural physical interaction. The project investigates how tangible controllers can make spatial authoring more expressive by translating continuous physical input into creative digital outcomes, demonstrating an alternative interaction model beyond conventional touch-based interfaces.
