Treasure Island Las Vegas celebrates its 30th anniversary on the Las Vegas Strip
In October, Treasure Island Las Vegas celebrated its 30th anniversary since its opening in 1993. As a celebration, the property will have various promotions, discounts, and offers from Wednesday, Nov. 1 to Tuesday, Nov. 14. Diners at Treasure Island restaurants, including Gilley's, the Las Vegas Yacht Club, Seafood Restaurant, and Pizza Shop Francesco's, can enjoy fan favorite barbecues at Gilley's, seafood choice menus such as the Yacht Club's Fish and Chips, and special $30 fixe menus such as pizza and wings at the pizzeria. Guests can also sign up for a new player card that allows them to earn 100 points to redeem $30 in free slot play. "Treasure Island properties have served travelers around the world for 30 years, and today they bring the best value to Las Vegas Streep's flagship location," said Dawn Wolf, vice president of brand marketing at Treasure Island. "TIs adjacent to Northern Streep's blooming new gaming, entertainment, and hospitality options, have also invested significantly throughout their lives to maintain their status as top-visiting hotels and casinos. Among the regular improvements, we want to remember our guests while claiming the ever-changing preferences of travelers, gamblers, and diners, and providing Las Vegas visitors with an experience that is always precious." Regarding recent and planned improvements: Treasure Island has rebranded its seafood restaurant as the Las Vegas Yacht Club, which features specialties including seafood salads, pasta, salmon Oscars, and sea scallops as well as today's market fresh catches, pan roast, steamed clams, oysters from shells, main lobsters, and two portions of grilled clams. A variety of oyster chefs and an extensive list of cocktails and wines are also available. Guests can sip on the restaurant overlooking the casino floor or at the open bar. TI has also opened Big Chill Margarita Bar, a new place to serve refreshing frozen cocktails. Fast and convenient, Big Chill offers a flavorful fruit blend up to 48 ounces in size. The Oleksandra Spa & Salon recently underwent a change and now offers new global treatments in an intimate, serene, and luxurious spa atmosphere. It also offered a 20% discount for Vegas locals. TI also announced that exciting new venues will open in 2024, including The Cove, a barcade where visitors can play several video games and other forms of entertainment. Treasure Island is now owned by business owner Phil Ruffin, who offered to buy the property from its former owner MGM in 2008. The purchase was completed in early 2009 and maintains a reputation as a leading tourist destination, offering major entertainment, such as Mystere at Cirque du Soleil, as well as numerous dining options, nightlife, spa, and shopping experiences. TI continues to offer free parking and valet to all guests.
