JULY 10 2019, Kyoto, Japan & Manila, Philippines – Hacarus Inc., the leading provider of Human Centric AI today announced the opening of its new Manila based Research and Development Center, as we all as the establishment of the Hacarus Philippines Inc., whole-owned subsidiary.

Hacarus, known for its ability to digitalize human specialist knowledge, will use the new development center for AI Application development, both for the Cloud and the Edge, as well as testing its latest algorithms, coming from its Kyoto based Sparse Modeling Center of Excellence.

Manila, the hotbed of the Philippine start-up scene was chosen as it provides an excellent access to talent – Hacarus has maintained a local Philippine based team since 2017. The new center located in Makati will be staffed by 5 Software Development Engineers from day one. Moving forward Hacarus will aggressively hire for the new location, aiming to double the current headcount by the end of 2019.
