We are looking for a Business Development Associate to play a critical role in Wantedly's business expansion in Singapore. If you are a quick learner, independent, love to get your hands dirty, we would love to have you over for a chat over coffee!
The successful candidate will report to, and work closely with the Business Development team to learn and implement the following:
• Learn the importance and the role of business operations
• Learn the ropes of approaching customers by cold calling and achieve sales objectives as a team
• Assist clients in troubleshooting, creating company profiles and job posts
• Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance
The successful candidate we are looking for would likely demonstrate the following:
• Inbound marketing, inside sales, inbound sales knowledge
• HR Tech and B2B SaaS landscape understanding
• Sales funnel and Customer Success experience
• Track record of "Hunting" or "Farming"
• Efficient in building sales decks and proposals
• Digital savviness including expertise in CRM and Google Workspace
• Professionalism and effective positive communication
• Existing developed professional network

This is a 9-month attachment under the SGUnited Mid-Career Pathways Programme and is open to all Singaporeans and Permanent Residents, with the exception of recent graduates (graduated between 2019-2021 or graduated before and completed National Service between 2019-2021). We will review applications outside of the above criteria on a case-by-case basis, and the same applies to conversion to full-time after the attachment.
