International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM)
The iGEM Competition is an annual worldwide synthetic biology competition with student teams participating from all over the world. I was part of the NUS university team which worked on designing a synthetic bacterial radar system that could diagnose, locate and invade a broad range of human cancers. Our team won a gold medal and a Best Project nomination under the diagnostics category.
