Pacman was released in 1980 and is a maze chase game in which the player moves through a maze and eats all of the dots they come across while doing so. In order to reach the highest level, you must avoid being caught by ghosts, who will kill you if they come across your path. Getting every item on every screen is critical to completing the game.

In the future
In order to progress through the levels, the player must move from screen to screen, eating everything in his path. That means he'll have to move to the next one. Players who are caught by ghosts will lose a life if they don't get away. In the event that he loses all of his lives, he will be redirected to the beginning of the game.
