VTuberの炎上メカニズム解析
Abstract As a result, VTubers are defined as streamers with avatars and personalities whose main source of income is YouTube, and a flaming incident is a "VTuber name flaming" with hundreds of posts when searched on Twitter. Based on these flaming cases, a typology of VTuber flaming was created. Unlike other types of flaming, VTuber flaming tends to last for a long time and does not subside even if an apology is made. The influence of video clips is strong, and malicious clips that are different from the facts fuel the flaming. Previous research has focused on the rapid expansion of online flaming and its main stage, Twitter, and has analyzed the reality of flaming and the mechanism of flaming, organized past events related to VTubers and predicted future prospects, and investigated the impression that the distribution style of VTubers and YouTubers gives to viewers. However, there are multiple definitions of the term "VTuber", and a new term, "Vliver", has also appeared. Therefore, in this study, we first clearly define VTubers, then reconsider the definition of a flame war, and aim to build a model that shows the expansion and contraction of flame wars based on past flame war cases. Modern society is in a state of information overload, and it is said that the cause of this is the development of the Internet and SNS. With the spread of smartphones and the development of SNS, criticism has increased, and a phenomenon called "flaming" has spread in society. VTubers in particular have a large influence, and due to their popularity and high recognition, they are prone to flame wars, which can lead to psychological problems and retirement. Flaming is caused by fan counterarguments and fan counterarguments. In addition, because VTubers have a unique culture of "reincarnation," it is easy for them to resume activities after retirement, so flame wars often continue for a long time even after retirement. VTubers have a unique culture and are more confidential than other streamers, and this peculiarity is the cause of most flame wars. With an understanding of this unique situation, we will continue to explore development and ways to reduce the risk of backlash.
