My name is Gary and I am a writer from the U.K., now living in Kawachinagano, Osaka Prefecture. I am lucky to have been given the unique opportunity to go behind the scenes here at Nanten-en in my role as Front Desk Staff and when writing for our Facebook and Instagram Pages.

In the future

My greatest ambition is to write a book or books about Japanese history; following in the footsteps of writers like Lafcadio Hearn and Richard Gordon Smith, whom explored Japan during the Meiji Period.
