Redesigning Pedagogy International Conference 2017
The Redesigning Pedagogy International Conference (RPIC) is a flagship conference organised by NIE on a biennial basis. Established and held at NIE since 2005 the RPIC brings together teachers, researchers, leaders and policymakers to share new ideas about teaching and learning. With a different theme each edition, the conference offers opportunities for multi-stakeholder interactions and sharing of international leading-edge research and best practices across schools and cultures. The 2017 conference was well attended by about 1,200 participants, consisting mainly of local educators, practitioners and researchers, as well as international representatives from over 20 different countries. I was the main Secretariat for the conference, working with more than 50 committee members and liaising with a number of vendors, international speakers and governmental agencies to plan and execute the 3-day conference.
