Led the Largest student event in Belgium
Our team from LOKO and I organised the 50th edition of the 24 hours race: a massive student event where tens of thousands of students come watch student associations race against each other for 24 hours non-stop, enjoy cheap and delicous meals and listen to popular artists on the big stage! As part of the organisation and head team I was responsible for the construction and deconstruction of the giant event, alongside giving out penalties, escorting emergency services, working with the police, fire department and others to make sure the event would be safe and smart. I had to assertively lead smaller teams to most parts of the organisational team and had primary responsibility of the event throughout the whole night. I'm glad to announce that it was the largest and most successful edition yet! We even had to restructure the circulation mid-event to compensate for the huge amount of students moving around.
