When I first joined PwC, I was a hospitality supervisor for the Tampa office. Eventually an opportunity opened to join the tax team and I was brought on. Working with the tax technology team on a brief assignment sparked my interested and I joined the technology team. I now have a role I am passionate about while learning about how AI is transforming the way the firm does business.
I currently run a small-scale dog food business part-time serving the Tampa Bay Area. The idea came to me when I noticed a difference in my dog’s health after I started making them kitchen cooked dog food. I do the marketing, processing, and logistics for the company.
While working at my college I helped the student life department come up with events for the students such college fairs, health and wellness programs, and even giving tours to incoming students.
Working in hospitality in Hawaii gave me a great sense of what it takes to achieve customer satisfaction. Here I was a lead for the beach and pool recreation services. My goal was to ensure a great guest experience while making sure my team had the resources and leadership they needed to succeed for the day.
