✰ My Journey in WDW (Orlando, FL)
I love to travel! It is amazing to know different cultures around the globe. From travelling to different countries, I realise that the world is really big. There are still many unknowns to let me discover. Last summer (2019), I am selected to take part in Disney International College Program in Walt Disney World (in Florida, the United States). Then, I went to Orlando for almost three months. I work as a cast member of food & beverage in a restaurant named Mara in a Disney resort. This is my first time to go to the US, live alone from homeland for such a long time and learn to take good care of myself. Everything there is different from Hong Kong. I have to communicate with guests and my other colleagues in English. The guests I serve come from many different countries, so they have different favours as well. I have never talked to that many foreigners before. Through this program, the largest reward is that I make friends around the globe like Thailand, Turkey, Canada, France and Africa, not to mention America. It is never easy to stay in a completely strange place. It takes me some time to get used to be in a totally English-speaking environment. After that, I become more confident to speak in English. I feel grateful that I decide to participate in this program.I love to travel. It is amazing to know different cultures around the globe. In March this year, I first tried to travel alone. It is a brand new challenge for me. From travelling to different countries, I realise that the world is really big. There are still many unknowns to let me discover.
