🌟 Employee Spotlight: Katia’s First Placement 🌟

We’re excited to celebrate Katia’s first placement with us since joining in January. Katia has embraced the challenge of transitioning into a new industry and has already made a significant impact. Here’s a closer look at her journey and insights:

Q: How has your experience been with our company so far, and what challenges did you face during your transition?

Katia: Transitioning to a new industry has been more complex than I expected. Moving from IT to Marketing/Sales in the Consumer industry introduced a new set of challenges. Unlike IT, where a candidate can be considered for multiple roles, Marketing/Sales often requires a more precise match—‘one position, one profile.’ This made it harder to match candidates to multiple opportunities simultaneously. Additionally, my lack of prior experience in retail meant I had to quickly get up to speed with industry specifics.

Q: Congratulations on making your first placement! Can you describe the process, the strategies you used, and how our company’s resources and culture contributed to your success?

Katia: Thank you! My first placement was greatly influenced by my mentor’s invaluable guidance and our daily reviews. During one morning review, a candidate’s profile stood out, and presenting it to the client led to a very positive response. Having detailed information about both the client’s needs and the candidate’s qualifications was essential. Effective communication and strong relationships with both parties played a crucial role. Our robust database was incredibly helpful, especially since the candidate was already in our network. Building trust with candidates and the unwavering support from my manager and team significantly contributed to my success. This supportive culture truly made a difference.

Q: How do you see your role evolving in the next few months, and what are your future aspirations with our company?

Katia: I’m eager to continue making more placements and contributing to our team’s success in various ways. I’m excited to keep growing and finding new ways to contribute.

Q: What advice would you offer to new consultants starting with us?

Katia: I’d recommend connecting with as many people as possible, including those outside your immediate team, to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company. Every colleague can offer valuable insights into different industries. It’s also important to observe and learn from various approaches to find what works best for you.
