RTB House Enhances Privacy and Regulatory Engagement With New Hire

Charles Simon joins the independent global AdTech company as VP of Private Advertising Standards

4 June 2024 – RTB House, a global company providing automated performance advertising in the Open Internet for top brands and agencies worldwide, today announces the appointment of Charles Simon as Vice President of Private Advertising Standards.

In this role, Charles will lead the shaping of internal and external privacy advertising standards for frameworks such as Privacy Sandbox, the Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF), and various  IAB initiatives like the MSPA. He will drive regulatory engagement efforts to expand RTB House’s compliance initiatives and forge strategic partnerships to advance the company’s mission to promote a privacy-forward advertising ecosystem.

Charles brings a wealth of experience in privacy, governance, and data policy. He joins RTB House from Nike, where he was Senior Director of Privacy & Governance Architecture, leading the design and build of privacy-preserving infrastructure for its users, employees and elite athletes. Before this, Charles worked in several privacy and policy-oriented positions at Google including as the Privacy Engineering Team Lead for its Devices and Services PA and, earlier, at MediaMath where he led the design and implementation of its technology responses to the GDPR and confounded version one of the IAB Europe Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF) in the process.
