出身は外国人で賑わうニセコ町です。 子どもの頃は、野山を駆け回り、夏は野球、冬はスキーをする毎日を過ごしました。高校時代には硬式野球部に所属し、坊主頭で毎日暗くなるまで練習に明け暮れていました。今はなくなってしまいましたが、中島公園の中にあった、中島球場でも野球をし、北海道高校野球の聖地である円山球場で行われた全道大会に
