After several years in sustainable engineering and construction, I embarked on a new career as a web developer. My interest turned into a passion, and I made a giant leap and learn all the ins-and-outs of backend developing.
My professional assets : • Leadership and Teamwork. Effective leader who understands the different components of teamwork and the benefits of working with others in a cooperative manner to achieve desired results. • Continuous Learning. Known that I am a junior but also how to ask questions to available resources in response to new problems or situations. Curious and interested in new approaches, tools and methods by seeking out others, reading and researching. Open to learning and continued development, self-taught • Creativity. Innovative thinker and agile enthusiast with a knack developing new projects that capture opportunities for improvement. Experienced in coordinating with multifunctional teams to develop and implement operational, project and process improvements.
In 2017, I took the year off to travel to 40 countries in Europe, North America, South America and Asia ( 7 months + 6 months in Singapore ). I also contributed my time and volunteered to build sustainable homes in Brazil and Canada. After almost 1 year in Asia, I am currently based in Singapore. Advocate of the remote job, the most important for me is to share ideas and deepen my knowledge in web development, no matter where we are.
From the moment I produced ‘Hello’ in the console of my first application, I knew I was hooked into the world of software development. But it has never been ‘just a job’ for me, it’s offered an engaging challenge to continually learn and improve my skills in creating high-quality software.
