Understood the business, and worked with EF Zurich to build reports based on the specified requirements. Built stored procedures, optimised sql quires by considering execution plans. • Generated reports using SSRS and Excel (Pivot) that could be used to send information based on user requirement. Project description: Acquire data from respective source and integrate it with existing content at our mart level through the process of incremental loading with the help of CDC. Transform the raw data into knowledge via OLAP cubes. This entire process is handled in METAL system where enhancements like addition of new lanes based on client requirement, dealt with performance tuning aspects just by updating the few processing properties at cube level. Role: • Had good interaction with team lead, DBA’s and technical manager to fully understand the requirements of the system. • Writing queries to create basic stored procedures, Views, CTEs (Common Table Expressions). • Using SQL Server Constraints (Primary Keys, Foreign Keys, Check, Unique etc.). • Writing T-SQL Queries, Sub queries. • Familiar with creating indexes on selective columns to speed up queries and Used Execution Plan, SQL Server profiler to trace the slow running queries. • Used SSIS to create basic ETL packages to validate, extract, transform and load data into databases.
