Communication as a tool, not an obstacle
After graduating in linguistics with a minor in Japanese, I took the leap across the ocean to teach English in Japan. There, I saw first-hand the challange and importance of communication across languages and cultures.

In the future
I want to use my language skills to facilitate understanding between people and cultures. Understanding and being understood is the first step towards progess.
