You will support the AMA Insights function to play a critical role in driving the Consumer First Insights Agenda. Also, you will be working with market research agencies to deliver quality market research and insights that will be used to align the needs of consumers with marketing strategies within the business
Your role will include:
Assisting on research projects
· Collecting information from key stakeholders
· Liaising with area marketing managers, agency partners, finance and procurement colleagues
· Ensuring that all SOP’s are adhered to and up to date on a project basis
· Engaging with agencies and following up any queries put forward
· Organising meetings and debriefs
· Working on the analysis of market research and other information sources
· Supporting the communication of key insights to colleagues
· Maintaining the research database system
· Managing all project administration: CE’s, invoices etc
· Support the development of succinct input to business projects
· Support Ad hoc project work
Examples of projects include:
· Equity in communications tracker (brand performance understanding, what do people think about our brands in different countries, strong, weak, relevant?)
· Coordinate with agencies, broadly across region
· Immersion program for AMA: get our GSK colleagues to go out and visit consumers in different countries. Physical visit or online interview. Need coordination and arranging. Participate in one of those visits too e.g. physical visit in Singapore. Being multilingual will be an advantage but not necessary. Good mix of countries to be exposed to. Work with each insight lead in the markets.
You will ideally have the following:
Business Skills and Competencies
· Educational background - A degree in Marketing/Psychology with modules completed in marketing research, statistics, and research methods.
· Not necessarily a penultimate year student
· A keen and demonstrable interest in consumer insights or marketing research
· Good level of Microsoft office skills - including Excel and Powerpoint
Behavioural Skills and Competencies
· Ability to prioritize and work to tight deadlines
· Analytical and interpretative skills a must
· Data literate and insight driven
· Ability to prioritize and paying attention to detail
· Fast learner with the ability to hit the ground running
· Able to confidently lead as well as work well in a team
· Organised and good project management skills
· Good communication and relationship building skills
