Grab for Business is the B2B SaaS team within Grab that helps to simplify business transportation, corporate food & package deliveries as well as related services for companies across Southeast Asia. We engage with thousands of corporate clients across the region and drive the further expansion of a high growth product line such as Grab for Business. We are looking for a hands-on and operationally resilient Regional Manager to anchor a portfolio of growing Strategy & Product Operations responsibilities.
Candidate needs to have strong communication skills, attention to detail, background in product operations, consulting/project management and a track record of exceeding expectations. This role is based in Singapore.
To perform this role well, the candidate should:
• Be highly organised and process-driven, with a keen eye for analytics
•Be a self-starter with a strong passion for Product Strategy & Operations, backed by data insights
•Have strong communication skills (written, spoken, presentation), with keen attention to detail
•Experience in Product Marketing is an added advantage, but not mandatory
The Role:
•You will report to the Regional Head-Go To Market, Grab for Business
•Be part of the regional Grab for Business team, with ownership in building up the high growth B2B SaaS product solutions such as the Grab for Business Portal, GrabFood for Business etc
Responsibilities include but not limited to, the following:
•Develop, test, own and operationalise the Grab for Business new product development strategy and roadmap alongside the Product Management teams
•Drive creative solutions to contribute towards product strategy and impactful product operations, and exhibit operational autonomy in new initiatives & projects. This would include core contributions to the Grab for Business suite of B2B solutions at the ideation, market research, iteration and product scoping stages all the way to a successful product launch and the scaling of product support workstreams
•Be a Grab for Business product subject matter expert, and be closely aligned with the sales, key account management, channel partner & Sales Ops teams, drive, implement and track product operations SOPs that are in line with overall product & business objectives
•Provide strategic support to the Grab for Business Product Management team (product documentation and checklists, market research & client interviews, new product introduction preparation, feature prioritisation based on business team objectives, alignment with support teams etc.) on the top priority projects
•Ensure timely and regular communication across all aspects of the Grab for Business Portal product life cycle for all teams (Product Managers, Designers, Business teams, Client Support, Marketing etc.)
•Conduct regular trainings with Grab Customer Experience (CE) teams to ensure they are proficient and updated on all Grab for Business support processes and new product features
•Special Projects: GrabFood for Business
-Regional responsibility for scaling product operations for GrabFood for Business
-Roll out of all new & existing product features (Grab for Business Portal, App & Web Booking) for corporate use cases
-Align commercial operations on all GrabFood for Business requirements including promotions, partner-funded discounts, billing & invoicing and client support
-Work closely with GrabFood country operations teams to build, launch and own the operational roadmap for corporate catering merchant-partner acquisition, retention, promotion, commercial terms and partner management in each Grab market
-Provide process mapping and guidelines for corporate catering Merchant-partner account verification, onboarding, activation, menu & cuisine management as well as pricing recommendations
-Collect, organise, and analyse product and business data on GrabFood for Business to help product managers make more informed decisions on issues faced by the sales & account management teams that then enable us to leverage client, industry and data-backed insights to exceed expectations & achieve commercial excellence
Qualifications:
•Minimum of 6-8 years of operational and direct work experience in a Product Strategy, Product Operations, Product Consulting or Project Management role in the B2B, SaaS, Telecom, Consulting, Technology, Foodtech or F&B industry.
•Bachelor’s Degree (required)
•[Optional] Proficiency in project management tools and workflow solutions (E.g. Jira@Atlassian)
•Should be comfortable with advanced usage of Microsoft Office and G Suite (Docs / Sheets / Slides)
•Strong and effective communicator with good presentation and speaking skills who can verbally and visually articulate their point of view clearly and succinctly.
•Ambitious, self-driven and highly motivated individual who can work well in a startup VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) environment. Must demonstrate integrity and respect in the performance of their duties.
