As a new team member

Sephora ain’t just about makeup mavens, beauty enthusiasts and skincare gurus. As the leading omni-channel retailer in SEA, we have a strong tech vision in revolutionising the beauty industry through pioneering innovation and digital action. We’re looking for a passionate UI/UX designer for 6 months to join our small & dynamic team. We design the user experience for all digital channels, including Sephora SEA's mobile apps, mobile web, and the main website. As UI/UX Designer, you will be involved in product development, and will demonstrate your interaction design, visual design and user experience research skills for a wide range of digital products. You will work closely with colleagues from Engineering, Product and Commercial Teams, in order to drive the rapid evolution of our digital products. As part of Sephora, we are focused on the development of a true omnichannel customer experience, and we offer our employees a unique opportunity to develop their skills and experiences in a market leading company that combines the best of startup culture with big company resource. We are high energy, passionate and flexible, and we love what we do. You will be joining a growing and dynamic technology team which develops all of our key platforms and technologies. We work with very few agencies, and thus you will have the opportunity to both plan and execute the project you own. What you'll be doing with us : • Craft detailed user flows and experiences for new feature requests and for improving the digital journey • Develop concepts, mockups, wireframes and prototypes with pixel-perfect attention to detail • Work with small multi-disciplinary teams. You’ll partner closely with engineering, product, and business teams to achieve business objectives and drive the search for elegant yet practical solutions to design challenges. • Conduct usability tests and incorporate user feedback into new interface designs when necessary • Clearly communicate solutions, usually in the form of documentation, wire-frames, prototypes, and small workshops. Who you might be : • E-Commerce and mobile design experience are preferred • 2+ years working experience in ux/ui design or interaction design • Knowledge of design and prototyping tools, such as Sketch, Invisionapp, Adobe CC and other wireframing tools • Strong knowledge of web and mobile technologies and their impact on the feasibility of a design. • Degree/Diploma in Interaction Design or equivalent design-related field You'll be a great addition if: • You have demonstrated problem-solving abilities; you have exceptional attention to detail and you are inventive • You have the ability to run projects and to juggle timelines and competing demands • You are collaborative and constructive, you enjoy working with others to achieve success • You are open-minded and experimental, constantly innovating to find solutions • You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal *Please note that this is a 6 months contract position The data is definitive: diversity leads to better teams, better performance, and better results.
