What we do

Non-profits do extraordinary work but can lack the business skills they need to grow. Business people have those skills but need the right opportunities to share them. talenTtrust was founded to create those opportunities. talenTtrust is an award winning IPC charity whose mission is to strengthen other non-profits through skills based volunteering. With a range of pro bono programmes, we connect corporate leaders with non-profits to transfer the skills and knowledge needed to help inspiring social impact organisations upskill and scale. With non-profits exceling, their beneficiaries are better served and the broader Singapore community thrives.

Why we do

Our purpose: levelling up talent to amplify good Our mission: strengthening non-profits and their impact through skills-based volunteering

How we do

Most people are familiar with more traditional service-based volunteering: The type where you help to paint a school or read to kids. Whilst this is always a rewarding and helpful thing to do, it can require a lot of time, and often only achieves short-term outcomes. Skills-based volunteering allows you to put your specialist business skills to good use, offering advice and guidance to charities looking to professionalise and grow. This results in high-impact, sustainable change for the charity, and a growth in personal development for mentors. talenTtrust projects are designed to create maximum impact in manageable blocks of time.

As a new team member

If you are looking for an unique internship where you can apply your web design skills to the fullest, this is the opportunity for you! We are seeking an intern to assist in our web design efforts. You will update our website, improve our website’s user experience (UX) and guide the talenTtrust team on managing our website more effectively. As talenTtrust does not currently have a web development team, you will have great scope to contribute to our organisation’s website revamp and development. This will enable talenTtrust to take our work to the next level! This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual who wants to gain first-hand experience and knowledge in the social impact space, an understanding of the challenges that social purpose organisations face, and the importance of good communications! Roles and Responsibilities: ● Develop wireframes to recommend necessary improvements that would enhance the user experience and interface of the talentTrust’s website. ● Design and execute the improvements required for the website. ● Work closely with the team to ensure up-to-date and accurate website content and messaging throughout the pages. ● Guide and support the team to resolve any technical and/or troubleshooting matters related to the website. ● Other general duties and responsibilities that are deemed relevant (e.g. general administrative duties, taking minutes of meetings, etc). Requirements: ● Basic foundation of front-end web development (HTML, CSS, Javascript, Responsive Web Design) and has knowledge of design principles, including color theory, typography, and layout. ● A portfolio that showcases your website development and design skills. ● Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with a great eye for detail ● Able to commit to a minimum of 3 months. Ideally, we are looking for interns who can commit to 6 months. This is a paid, full-time and hybrid role. ● Polytechnic and university students on semester breaks or gap years are welcome to apply! Interested candidates should indicate in your profile stating your interest and availability in addition to uploading your resume (ideally, with a portfolio of web design work). Just click "I'm interested", we look forward to receiving your application!
