Our business diversity ranges from vast numbers of individual tours (FIT), leisure group series and ad hoc group tours and covers a variety of ground travel products and services including hotels, restaurants, coaches and sightseeing products. We aim to deliver outstanding customer service and satisfaction through continuous innovation, development and investment in our staff, systems and technology. We also work to build strong long term partnerships with both our suppliers and our clients. We can provide our suppliers with distribution channels to help you maximise your revenue with our global product reach. We also offer our clients extensive inventory and competitive rates through our XML API products and via the expertise of our Sales offices.

As a Sales Manager for Miki Travel, your role is pivotal in driving the growth and success of our company in the international market. Your responsibilities encompass a wide range of activities aimed at expanding our global presence, enhancing client relationships, and achieving sales targets. We are seeking a candidate with a solid background in sales within the travel industry, who possesses exceptional selling skills, is proactive and self-driven, and ideally has exposure to working with wholesalers. These qualifications are crucial for the success of the Sales Manager role in our organization. As a Sales Manager, you play a critical role in shaping our global presence, nurturing client relationships, and driving sales performance. Your market insights, client engagement, and sales acumen are key to our continued success in the market. Job Responsibilities • Conduct thorough and ongoing market research on a global scale. Identify emerging trends, market opportunities, and potential challenges. This analysis forms the basis for strategic decision-making. • Promotion of Miki and Business Responsibility, Promote our brand and oversee all business operations. Develop and execute strategies to increase brand visibility and market share. • Building a Potential New Client Database, Strategically identifying, targeting, and engaging with potential new clients. Build and maintain a comprehensive database of prospective clients, ensuring a strong pipeline for future business growth. • Maintaining Wholesaler Relationships, Cultivate and nurture robust relationships with wholesalers. Collaborate closely with them to ensure productive partnerships, streamline operations, and achieve mutual business objectives. • Establish and maintain strong relationships with agents. Regularly visit and engage with them to understand their needs, provide support, and explore collaborative opportunities. • Offer Follow-Up and Deal Closure, Diligently follow up on offers made to clients. Gather feedback, address concerns, and facilitate the successful closure of deals. Meet or exceed established sales targets. • Weekly Activity Reporting, Provide detailed weekly activity reports to management. These reports offer insights into your achievements, challenges, and the status of ongoing projects, ensuring transparency and accountability. • Marketing Activities for planning, coordinating and executing marketing initiatives on a global scale. These efforts are designed to enhance brand visibility, attract potential clients, and drive business growth. Job Requirements • Minimum 4-5 Years of Sales Experience in the Travel Industry or Similar; The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of at least 4-5 years in active sales within the travel industry or a closely related field. This experience demonstrates a solid foundation in understanding the nuances of travel products and services, as well as customer dynamics. • Able to Work Independently: We seek individuals who are self-reliant and capable of working autonomously. This quality is essential for managing a diverse portfolio of responsibilities and making independent decisions when required. Self-motivation and the ability to stay focused on goals are key. • Proactive: Proactivity is a highly valued trait in this role.
