Urbanesia was the first online directory, focused on gathering high quality data, acting as the first content partnership with Google.

Selina the founder of Urbanesia was frustrated by the fact her home country Indonesia's online data was so behind of US. Selina studied at university in US for six year, and online services such as Google map and Yelp were part of her lifestyles. She used those services whenever she goes out with friends. When she graduated from College and came back to Indonesia, there was nothing like Google map or Yelp. So she decided to create one herself. That's how Urbanesia started.

Urbaneisa currently have 16 team members, three engineers, one designer and a large group of data input team. Urbanesia takes data inputting seriously. Selina the founder thinks collecting useful data and creating user friendly product is much more important than spending money on paid marketing (Ads).
