Welcome to Time Out Smarties!
We believe the power to learn resides in each child. Positive exposure to education is our way to guide our children in taking an active role towards shaping their understanding of the world they live in.
We are a student care where we care for children holistically. From student care services, holiday programme for kids, tuition and enrichment classes like art class, baking class and lego robotics for children, we plan lessons and activities for the children to instill passion to learn.
Why we do
Our Philosophy
The underlying philosophy of our programme embraces a combination of the use of Dewey’s explanation of true education, whereby a child is stimulated to his/her full potential by the demands of the social situations in which a child finds himself or herself. The child learns to act as part of a larger group, and he/she learns by looking/making sense of others’ responses to his/her actions. Thus, project-based learning coupled with problem-based learning are key methods of our teaching philosophy.

How we do
We bring new knowledge and new experiences to all staff and students through our curriculum and activities. Teachers are resourceful, independent, innovative and take initiative during the planning and execution of lessons and activities. We work like a tight knitted group with everyone there to help each other out.
