What we do
The Collective is a mobile marketplace app that empowers home-based businesses of which we like to call them “hometrepreneurs”, to grow and reach a wider audience. We showcase home-based businesses in the Food and Beverages, Crafts and Service industry and make the buying and selling process seamless. We enable sellers to do what they love and for buyers to find unique hand-made products and services, and our goal is to create a strong community that supports local home-based businesses.
As an all-in-one marketplace platform, our app gives these hometreprenuers the power to connect with customers through a lively marketplace, create a strong online presence, manage and track orders, and, take payments. These solutions have been catered for the seller’s needs and frustrations which would otherwise take up the majority of their time and effort in running a home-based business.
While for buyers and potential customers, our app provides an aggregated platform for them to easily browse and shop from a wide range of home-based businesses, with a fast and secure in-app payment.
Why we do
Our mission is to enable sellers to do what they love and buyers to buy what they love.
Our over-arching vision is to enable everyone and anyone, regardless of their existing job, to be able to follow their passion to start a home-based business.
How we do
We believe in supporting our local home-based businesses and providing the tools for them to scale and succeed. With home-based businesses on the rise and rising at a rapid rate, we thus saw the need for a platform that could connect all home-business owners, whether they are bakers, jeweller, or manicurists to consumers with multiple solutions all in one place. And that was when "The Collective" was born.
