Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)の重要性が叫ばれる昨今、様々な取り組みで地域に貢献をしている企業も増えてきていることと思います。

Datadog本社やその他拠点でもFood Driveを行い、家で余っている食品を集めて食べ物を必要とする団体に寄付を行なっています。

東京オフィス＠WeWork日本橋でも先週の二日間のランチタイムを利用してFood Driveを実施しました！

Datadogではセカンドハーベスト・ジャパン（認定NPO法人）さんをパートナーに困窮世帯、特にひとり親世帯への再分配をお願いしてみました。

クリスマスやお正月に美味しいものをたくさん食べて欲しいという願いを込めて、社内とWeWork日本橋で呼びかけをしたところ、入居する他社さん（特にWeWork日本橋チームとDropbox社さんがメインでご協力くださいました）を中心にFood Drive実施日前から、たくさんの食品が集まりました。

お米やお餅やパスタなどの主食から、砂糖や塩などの調味料、そしてお菓子など時には買ってきてくださったり、また1,000円の寄付で40食のご飯を提供できるのですが募金箱にもお金を入れてくださる方も多々おり、善意に溢れる温かい空間となっておりました。

日々、ものすごい量の食品が廃棄されていると聞きます。その一方でお腹を空かせている方々もいて、そのバランスを保つ仲介をされているセカンドハーベスト・ジャパンさんには感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。個人で困っている方を探すのは限界があるので職場で簡単にFood Driveこれからもご協力させていただきたいと思います！

今回は今までと少し趣向を変えてシドニーオフィスの社員のインタビューを掲載します。彼女は月に一度の頻度で来日をし、Commercial Salesチーム、Sales Develpoment RepresentativeのチームのDevelopmentやTeam building、Target達成に寄与しています。

1. Please tell me about yourself briefly (Career and other interests )

自己紹介をお願いします

I’ve been in IT for over 20 years. I love the industry as it is always changing and I must always continue learning. I am a very curious person and so this suits me very well.

IT業界に20年以上携わってきました。変化に飛んでおり、常に新しいことを学ばなければいけないこの業界が大好きです。私は非常に好奇心の旺盛なタイプなので、ITは私にぴったりです。

2. Please tell me the reason why you decided to join Datadog

Datadogに入社した理由を教えてください

Datadog offered an opportunity to really expand my skills. They hired me for my potential as well as my experience. The pace, the technology and the decisiveness of the company persuaded me. I also really like our cultural values of openness, enthusiasm and humility.

Datadogが私のスキルを広げるチャンスをオファーしてくれたからです。Datadogは私の今までの経験だけでなく、将来的なポテンシャルも評価してくれました。会社のスピード感や決定力も後押ししてくれました。そして、Datadogのオープンな社風、熱意、謙虚な姿勢がとても好きです。

3. Please tell me about career at Datadog so far (Daily, Weekly and Annually)

実際にDatadogに入社してみてどうですか？

I’ve been with Datadog for about 9 months. I run our Commercial (<5000 employees) sales teams in APAC. It has been such an exciting, exhausting and invigorating time - we have grown and achieved so much in that short time that I am looking forward to the future at Datadog!

入社して9ヶ月が経過しました。私はAPACのCommercial Salesチーム（5,000人以下の企業に対する営業チーム）を率いてます。毎日がエキサイティングでとても骨が折れますが、とても勢いのあるものです。短期間の間に急成長を遂げ、多くを達成する中で、Datadogの将来を考えると楽しみで仕方ありません！

4. Please describe Datadog and its culture

Datadogはどのような会社ですか？

Datadog really does live to its cultural values. We want everyone to succeed as a team - we are One Team here and are very open and accepting of everyone. We are also really enthusiastic - about Datadog, about the industry and its possibilities, about our careers and about our fellow team members. We are really humble and we do what we say we can do - what you see is what you get.

5. What kind of people would you like to work with?

どのような人たちと一緒に働きたいですか？

I really like working with people who are happy to work in a fast-paced, focused way and still have energy left over for fun, who always want to learn and improve themselves and who help others in the team to be as successful as themselves.

目まぐるしく変化する環境の中でそれでも高い集中力をもち仕事に取り組める人、そしてタフな状況でも楽しむことを忘れない人、いつも新しいことを学ぶ姿勢をもち、自分自身を高めたいと思っている人、そしてチームの中でチームの成功のために他のメンバーを助けられる人と働きたいです。

6. What are your short/mid/long term goals?

短期、中長期的な目標はありますか？

I want to see the Commercial APAC sales team grow to be over 100 staff in 2 years - and we are on track to doing that! I want to see every one of our reps in Commercial feeling success. I want to help my team grow their careers, no matter what they want to do for their next role, and I want to make sure I remain focused on our people and what they need from us to help them be successful.

2年のうちにCommercial APACチームを100人規模に成長させたいです。（現在、着々と実現中です！）チームのメンバー一人一人が成功を感じられるようサポートしたいです。また、次にどのような役職に挑戦するに関わらずキャリアアップを応援し、また自分自身のチームが同時に成功していけるようフォーカスしたいです。
