SAFRAN Project 2 - MSc Individual Project: “Implement a robust tool management system to enhance manufacturing process of New Production department.” JIT - KANBAN inventory control tool used with the involvement of SAP ERP system. Project is carried out following the “Lean-Sigma Green Belt” methods and strategies. • Reduced the average delay of planned start date per production work order from 6 days to less than 2 days. • Removed average number of tool shortage incidents from 4 to 0. • Removed time spent on manual stock reviewing and identifying quantity requirements using managed stock list. • Removed the time taken to generate purchase order & purchase order placement of 4 days / month. • Reduced the tool replenishment lead time from 3 weeks to less than 1 week per purchase order
