Spent two weeks in India to train new members to take on operative procurement tasks. 1 week for practice and another week for the actual work. Followed up with them after returning to Singapore to ensure they were stable enough to work independently. Point of escalation for anything they couldn’t resolve (as their ‘manager’)

Implementation of Procurement System in APAC
Introduced the procurement system to APAC offices in various phases, and followed up on ensuring colleagues began using the procurement system to put in their spend. Did many follow ups with various teams to ensure user adoption rates went up, and also to hear out their concerns. Collaborated with FinTech team to get the system up and tailored to match the needs of the teams.

Acquisition Management - backend support
Provided backend support to manage the finalisation of acquisition of subsidiary, Ariba Japan, into SAP Japan, which included negotiation of contractual terms to be equal to SAP Japan's terms.

RFP for Audio Products (Japan office)
Did up an RFP for audio products sourced from Polycom for resellers based on their prices and the special licensing rights with advice from the IT team. Negotiated for lowest possible cost while still maintaining the same purchase package.

Merging of Procurement Practices in APJ
Learnt the procurement processes from the Japan team and collaborated with Singapore colleagues to get these practices reviewed with the main team in Singapore to develop a common standard operating procedure for the APJ (Asia Pacific Japan) region. Built up a process to ensure the procedures still matched the needs of the Japan team.
