My career was started as truck driver after getting out from "freeter". I had been an only truck driver for almost 10 years. Because all sorts of thinking, I decided to change my career and try to go into foreign based company, that was 2007. Started learning English then, I got TOEIC score 800 at March 2008. I found a new opportunity in German based company on Sep. 2008, at the same time I joined weekend business school in Japan (Nagoya University of Commerce and Business), graduated on March 2010 with MBA. In the German based company, I have been in charge of logistics, operation, spare parts sales and all Aftersales activities close cooperation with my colleagues in Singapore and other countries. I have dealt with many colleagues with very differenent background. Being able to deal with these people is one of my strengths.
German based state of the art high speed engine manufacture. As local subsidiary in Japan, MTU Japan is taking care of Japanese customers close cooperation with regional headquarters in Singapore. As senior manager of Aftersales department, I'm in carge of all Aftersales activities, from field service control, service partner management, spare parts sales and service sales activities. I'm also responsible for service revenue in Japan, which is directly reported to our regional headquarters in Singapore. I have been responsible for some special projects which has led by poject management in Singapore. One of the biggest projects was that business distribution channel transfer in Japan, in which some of the business in Japan was transferred local third party company who has strong capabilities to grow the businesses. I was appointed one of the project manager in Japan (the others, one from headquarters and the another from the third party company) to lead and make successful the project. The project was completed at the end March 2017 and new structure was started from this Apr.
With my school members in NUCB, I organized some study group sessions with my class mates. I called on Mr. Deguchi, Mr. Iwase of Lifenet Insurance Company and Mr. Joe Sakai as coaches and presenters of the struck group.
