Becoming a Teacher

I had good teachers and mentors during my school days and working life. I met a very good Mathematics teacher, Mr Ong, when I was in Secondary Three. He was patient and clear in his explanation. Mr Ong made his Maths lessons interesting with his humorous delivery. He explained complex mathematical concepts to us clearly and made sure all of us understood him correctly. He would go through with the students, questions after questions, solving numerous problem sums on the blackboard. One way for me to pay it forward is to be a teacher. So when the opportunity arises, I embark on this amazing journey.
