Lay off turned me into a bird...

Stoked to fly ....

Recently, I got laid off. Many of my colleagues, seniors from Services organization got affected as well.

Initially, I thought that there is no need to discuss this on LinkedIn but then realized that LinkedIn isn`t about five-star medals only but it`s about bruises & cuts as well.

It didn`t come as a surprise since my employer has been hit hardest by the slump and trade-war that overall Semiconductor industry is struggling with. However, it was surprising to see almost the whole team leaving within a week.

I have observed more than 6 rounds of lay-offs in the last 3 years. All the people who got affected were geniuses in their own way but lost the game since Wall Street prefers profits over humans :-)

I am really curious to know what lies ahead. I know I need to fly now, I just don`t know whether I will be a bird or a drone. Hopefully, will figure out pretty soon!
