• Designed an Ergonomic and Compact Battery System for Rolls Royce. • Reviewed the technical requirements provided by Rolls-Royce and the constraints highlighted by its engineers through field surveys. • Developed a generalized method for optimizing the design of battery modules using AMPL and R. • Analyzed the cost of the proposed system and determine how the design will affect its cost relative to competing marine battery system designs. • Analyzed the logistics and process flow of transporting and installing 100+ modules through a large vessel and find opportunities to optimize the process or simplify it in different ways.
