Peatix is looking for a product designer. You’ll be responsible for designing and evolving features of our extensive web application platform. We are a startup in spirit but with the benefit of being an established business. Peatix Product Engineering is a distributed team supporting a popular and complex service. Historically, as a small team, designers and engineers at Peatix touched every facet of the product and the development processes. We want you for the skills you bring to the table as much as for the skills you want to hone. What you'll do ・Design UI/UX solutions that fit within the larger experience of using Peatix. ・Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers and other team members to fully understand an issue and work on solutions. ・Create mockups and flows for user interfaces and communicate those with the team. ・Proactively identify existing usability issues and contribute to design documentation. Qualifications ・You'll be working with a distributed team, so there is an emphasis on being a great verbal and written communicator. ・You have an interest in learning and are self-driven. ・You have an excellent eye for aesthetic and attention to detail. ・You have a solid understanding of web UI and best practices. ・You have experience in creating UI/UX for web applications and work as a product designer. ・You have an aptitude for systems thinking.
