Quest is a platform where Gen Zs can access to earning opportunities by monetising their skills and time to solve everyday problems.

Our Heroes and Citizens can simultaneously offer and access each others’ areas of expertise at competitive, fair rates without having to search far and wide for markets or customers.

Why we do

We're on a mission to democratise earning opportunities for all and reimagine the way we work. In this post-covid world, our vision is to provide the next million jobs through peer-to-peer transactions. With over 40,000 heroes and 15,000 quests posted, you can #HireAHero for pretty much anything, very quickly.

How we do

Quest was started in 2021 by a group of SMU undergraduates who are passionate about solving meaningful problems within our community.

We saw that the gig economy has grown, and our number of gig workers have risen, but there are insufficient platforms that cater to this group.

Being student freelancers and entrepreneurs ourselves, we began our journey with the million-dollar question: Is there something we can do?

Fast forward about a year later, we built an app to answer that question. ‘Quest – Hire a Hero’, available on both Apple and Google stores since June 2021, is an app that brings users together onto a single platform. We have since garnered more than 40,000 heroes and reached #1 on the Lifestyle category in the Apps Stores and #5 overall. And we have never left the charts since.

Today, Quest is a venture-backed start-up supported by the National Youth Council, SMU's Business Innovations Generator (BIG) by IIE, Enterprise Singapore, SG United, and global early-stage VC Antler.
