As a new team member

Responsibilities & Duties Finance Duties: • Responsible for knowing critical functions within the department and capable of mentoring and assisting employees with accounting questions. • Monitors compliance with Singapore accounting principles and company procedures. • Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports. • Assures compliance with federal, state, local and corporate policies, regulations and laws. • Reviews accounts payables and weekly check runs. • Determines proper handling of financial transactions and approves transactions within designated limits in accordance with the approved annual Budget. • Compiles and analyses financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts, cost centers and documents business transactions. • Responsible for distributing financial statements and cost center reports. • Prepares work papers and supporting schedules for the annual financial review. • Prepares input information for monthly comparison reports and cost center reports for the management reporting. • Prepares financial statements and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial positions. • Analyse transactional processes and identify areas where additional accuracy and efficiencies can be achieved. • Closely maintains and monitors the fixed assets system. • Adheres to internal and external deadlines. • Applies cost accounting methods to achieve accurate representation of cost center performance. • Responsible for holding marketing, sales and editorial teams accountable for accuracy and timeliness of inventory controls and cost controls. • Assist with annual budgets – prepares all allocations. • Coordinate monthly closing process and reconciliation of general ledger accounts. • Responsible for all taxes obligations. • Develop and implement various accounting procedures. • Preparation of the monthly statutory accounts and consolidated financial statements once requested. • Work with both internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits. • Maintain a system of accounts and keep records on all company transactions and assets. • Report, analyse, and ensure integrity of all financial information. • Staff management and development. HR/Admin Duties: • Manage and perform the full functions of Human Resource/Admin within the company. • Duties included but not limited to the followings: • Preparation of Employment Contracts, Promotion Letter, Termination Letter, Change of Job Designation and etc. • Application/Renewal/Issuance of Pass for foreigners such as EP, DP, S Pass, WP, LOC and etc. • Other Ad-hoc administrative duties assigned by the Managing Director. Payroll Duties: • Preparation and processing on monthly payroll. • Preparation and issuance of payment slips. • Preparation and submission of CPF contributions. • Preparation and submission of AIS/IR8A on a yearly basis Others: • Observe office hours/working time. • Be punctual. • Be friendly to co-workers, visitors, partners a.o. • Be dilligent with office equipment and personal belongings of co-workers.
