As a new team member

We are looking for a Consumer Marketing Manager with a strong strategic comms planning or integrated brand marketing background. You would have at least 6-8 years of experience from an advertising agency ideally in an account management-planner hybrid role, or from an in-house brand marketing or communication role. (Candidates with fewer years of experience will be considered for the Asst. Manager role.) The successful candidate will also work proactively to enhance the company’s reputation and brand by managing public sentiments in anticipation of news surrounding strategic partnership and regulatory challenges on the marketplace ecosystem. The candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities to position Grab as a thought leader and force for good, and demonstrate the positive impact Grab has on its communities (consumers, merchants, drivers.) It is expected that the candidate will work closely with various stakeholders for alignment on marketing, including and not limited to our Public Relations, Government Affairs and Creative teams. To succeed in this role, you need to be a self-motivated, resourceful individual who can perform under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You should have a clear understanding of end-to-end marketing strategies, and be able to break down complex issues into executable strategies and detailed tactics. As the Consumer Marketing team is responsible for driving multiple Grab services in Singapore, the ideal candidate should possess the ability to adapt quickly in an ever-changing landscape and be ready to move with the needs of the business. [The day-to-day activities] - Work closely with key stakeholders and support functions (internal and external) to develop brand positioning and marketing narratives that will enhance and demonstrate Grab’s role as a thought leader and force for good - Identify opportunities, design and implement the end-to-end execution of multi-channel campaigns to deliver high-quality work across creative, PR, media etc that aim to address the above, including content or collaterals that could support the building of trust with the general public or lasting relationships with external stakeholders - Drive brand loyalty for the Grab brand and/or business growth across all target segments via marketing initiatives that hit business and marketing objectives - Manage reporting and analysis across marketing campaigns, using data to drive better campaigns through a test and learn approach - Be the go-to point person on the SG Marketing team to support on naming / positioning / comms planning and development where necessary [The must haves] - Familiar with the entire marketing mix – you have a good knowledge of how and when to leverage different marketing channels from above-the-line and below-the-line communications for brand activation. You must also have a clear understanding of how to plan an end-to-end marketing rollout for new campaigns (e.g. product launches, consumer campaigns, merchant campaigns etc.) - Excellent knowledge of the Singapore market, deep understanding of consumer insights and media landscape. - Experience in Brand and Comms Planning with skills in conceptualisation, positioning, insight mining, and turning them into ideas. You are resourceful with a problem-solving mind and comfortable sparring with creative people, with a knack for identifying great marketing creative and the ability to partner them to deliver the most impactful creative work. You also have a can-do attitude with the ability to follow through with the end-to-end execution and optimisation of the campaigns that you are leading. - Results-oriented and data-driven: Able to make data-informed decisions for a marketing plan.
