Heard of GrabMart? It is one of the newest offerings of Grab's product platform! Get to know the role: As the thought partner of regional leadership, you will influence the overall strategic direction of GrabMart. Your analyses will be backed by a deep understanding of our business model and data insights, with the ultimate goal of driving growth or profitability for the business. This role will be based in Singapore, and you will be reporting to the Analytics function while working closely with the Regional Strategy & Planning team of GrabMart. The Day to Day: - Critically evaluate and define business metrics; provide analytical recommendations to support the continuous improvement of the regional GrabMart business - Consolidate data from multiple sources including finance, operations, marketing and source databases to create integrated and scalable views that can be used to drive decision making - Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs/ pain points to scope up their problems and enhance internal processes through automation to improve productivity - Communicate strategic recommendations based on insights to our business leaders in clear and illustrative presentations and dashboards The must-haves: - 3-5 years of experience in business analyst related roles analyzing large data sets and informing company strategy - Proficiency in SQL, Tableau Excel and PowerPoint, Knowledge in Python or R is a plus - Experience in groceries or ecommerce in a fast-paced and performance-driven environment is a plus - Problem solver: When dealing with complex business problems, you are ready to solve them. You are able to assess the problem, find a creative and effective solution, and employ the tactics and tools to resolve the situation in a timely manner - Growth mindset: You are hungry to learn. In the start-up world, things are expected to change and move quickly, you are not only able to keep up with new trends but also possess the skill sets to apply the lessons learned. - Effective communicator: concise and articulate in any medium, you are able to convert a large amount of information and data into clear message - Scalable solutioning: you are able to think and plan ahead, building out scalable information systems/dashboards for the Mart team to utilise for day-to-day business decisions.
