The Full Stack Developer will join a growing team of developers to solve problems, layout priorities, and help BOLT build cool things.
The ideal candidate will have a passion to build and maintain code to help take our efforts to the next level.
Responsibilities:
- Add new features and maintain our existing Mobile and Web applications.
- Code, test and maintain Node.js based services
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency
- Be a part of the whole product life cycle: Design, Build, Run and Iterate
- Clearly communicate technical solutions to team members, both verbally and in written documentation
Key Competencies:
- React Native
- TypeScript
- Node.js and related frameworks (such as Express)
- Experience in Nginx
- Experience designing and building web application environments on AWS, including services such as EC2, S3, Elastic Beanstalk and RDS
- Good knowledge about continuous integration and delivery platforms such as GitLab, Travis CI, CircleCI, or Jenkins.
- Familiar with web communication standards (e.g. HTTP, REST, JSON, etc.)
- Knowledge of Git
- Experience writing unit tests and testable code
- Multimedia audio/video development and real-time collaboration system knowledge is a plus
- Self-directed, analytical, and problem solver. Work with a high degree of autonomy and limited supervision.
- Team player
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, preferable
- Preferably 2 to 3 years experience
The ideal candidate would have a background as a developer but able to manage a project and communicate effectively with different teams.
