Plateable is an e-commerce platform and ecosystem where restaurants and consumers have more transparent pricing, with a strong focus on storytelling and content creation.

We have been operating out of a co-sharing space along Amoy Street for some time. Amoy, Telok Ayer, Stanley and Boon Tat make up our “hood” which we love; some of our favourite places to eat and drink are here. As we work to launch our e-commerce and sourcing platform, covid19 happened. And so, we decided to pivot our launch and see if we can help restaurants reach their fans and customers further.

In the current lockdown in Singapore, we wanted to help our restaurants and cafes continue to run their businesses by charging a lower commission fee, and offering island-wide delivery. This helps chefs and owners reach their customers and focus on making great food. Customers get a wider choice of food selection, and can help #savefnbsg. Everyone wins!

We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Fullstack Developers with at least 2 years relevant experience building production level applications. As part of the engineering team, you will be shaping and implementing solutions using best practices and technologies to build this platform. Our tech stack includes: GraphQL, Apollo, Prisma, Mongoose, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Firebase, Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Nuxt.js, Vue.js, etc. Your role: • Design and develop front-end interfaces and backend systems with Javascript frameworks. • Consistently write effective code that is stable, secure, scalable and efficient • Accurately define effort requirements and manage personal workflow to ensure the deliverables are created on time and in budget What you will bring: • 2 years of experience of working on building production level applications • Experience working with and projects built on Node.js • Knowledge of front-end technologies ranging from HTML, CSS, React / Redux, Vue js, etc. • Experience working with databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB. • Knowledge of containerization such as Docker is a plus. • Familiarity of at least one of the cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP) and their services • Interested in software development process automation – testing automation, CI/CD, etc. Click 'Want to Visit', chat with us and together let's help to #SAVEFNBSG!
