As part of Community Management, if you are able to create a friendly environment and resolve issues between people quickly (in a manner that diffuses tension), we want you! You will need to plan and launch community initiatives to create connections between members of different organizations (including targeted member introductions, recommending possible mentor matches, running networking events and managing communications within the space and through digital vehicles). You will also need to foster a sense of inclusivity and contribute fresh ideas. You are required to be knowledgeable about the co-working space's membership contracts and guidelines (as well as federal, state and local laws that manage the work environment. Explain these policies to members, as necessary). You will need to oversee new member onboarding and member moving out of the space as well!
For your part on Events Planning and Execution, you will need to build a monthly calendar of co-working events that engages all stakeholders: Current members: Educational (e.g., lunch and learns) and appreciation events (e.g., happy hours and themed parties) as well as all future members in leading generation and sales-related events and the local community in identifying outside organizers and encourage them to use our event space. You will need to oversee the event itself, from catering to a smooth event check-in process to cleanup with your team.
In relation to Facilities and Space Management, you will need to manage all building operations to the satisfaction of members. You will also need to maximize up-time and availability of key facilities assets like the Wifi network, kitchen, printers/copiers and utilize a variety of coworking software applications manage the space and membership. You are also required to ensure that cleaning is conducted to spec.
Our requirements are at least 1 year of customer service or project management role in any of the following; co-working space, event agency, exhibition company, creative agency/marketing agency, real estate management company like Savills, Knight Frank, Far East or Capitaland. You should be a problem-solver who is eager to go the extra mile for the entrepreneurs, digital nomads, and freelancers in the co-working space. You should also have a passion for the entrepreneurial community. You are able to bring life into the growing community and shape its culture with sustainability in mind. You must be able to commit weekends and/or OT.
