Responsibilities:
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to propose events that meet client requirements
• Lead weekly internal progress meetings across departments
• Be responsible for your team's events, and ensure they run smoothly and according to budget
• Ensure internal work processes are adhered to by the team
• Be responsible for the planning of assigned event (For example timelines, venues, suppliers, licences, staffing and budget, etc)
• Liaise with clients at all stages of assigned event
• Work with internal departments (design, operations, etc) to ensure production of event deliverables
• Work together with sales team at the last stage of pitching to close prospective accounts
• Source for suppliers and vendors and all event logistics
• Coordinate suppliers, vendors, and handle client queries and solve problems onsite to ensure event runs smoothly and according to budget
• Manage a team of crew, and give detailed briefings
• Oversee the tearing down of the event and clear the venue efficiently
• Produce post-event evaluation to improve future events
• Research opportunities for new clients and events
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in events
• Experience in leading a team
• Love for hands on and a dynamic work environment
• Love for events and always on top of current trends
• Good written and verbal communication
• Good planning and time management
• Ability to multi task with good project management capabilities
• Organised, with an eye for details
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays
• Minimum Diploma in Business and Marketing or equivalent
