Why we do

Although the lifestyle sector is aflood with e-commerce sites and apps, offline retail is still a core part of it. And in this giant realm of brick and mortar stores, there are many problems that have not yet been addressed. ・ There is information asymmetry between users and professionals (coordinating outfits, knowledge, form, materials etc.) ・Brick and mortar shops can only sit there on standby ・ Users find it difficult to get the information they want ・ Knowledge about users' usage is insufficient (attributes and buying patterns etc.) ・ Developing nations don't yet have proper service infrastructure Our service is designed to solve these problems and provide new value to society. 【Our Mission】 “Create Future Shopping Experience” The core value we provide is not buying apparel online. Our aim is to redesign the apparel buying experience to make it user oriented. Whether online of off line, we provide the best buying experience to users to contribute to enriching their lifestyles. We are expanding our new retail platform “FACY” to Asia. 【Our values】 User Centric This is to help all users. STYLER Inc. was founded in 2015. Employees from over 8 different countries are already working at our office in Shibuya, Tokyo. 【Duties & Responsibilities】 ・Identifying and filling product gaps, and generating new ideas to improve market share ・Creating buy-in for product visions, both inside and outside the company ・Working closely with the engineering team to solve problems and create innovative products ・Assessing the market competition by comparing Styler’s products to our competitors’ products ・Working with executives, stakeholders, marketing, and public relations to drive product launches ・Evaluating project timelines to ensure that they are consistent with the product roadmap ・Translating product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes 【Qualifications Required】 ・Excellent verbal communication skills in English and Japanese ・At least 2 years of experience working as a product manager ・Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development, web technologies and cloud technologies ・Experience managing all aspects of a product throughout the entire lifecycle ・Experience communicating with teams who have different goals ・Experience making recommendations to executives ・Experience in design sprint cycles, UX design and usability design 【Desired】 ・Experience coordinating product development cycles and software development schedules ・Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs, and evaluate new ideas ・Experience working with projects that involve multiple teams ・Experience designing products and defining requirements ・Experience in creating user stories ・Experience in reporting to upper management
