The Sales Manager position based in Singapore is the key lead in generating and servicing new and existing clients in the business. He/ she must be able to work and lead with revenue goals and be willing to travel to other countries across Asia when needed.
Core responsibilities:
The Sales Manager is responsible for developing sales objectives, executing sales strategy and tactics, generating and converting leads to sales, onboarding new business clients and servicing business accounts.
Promoting growth and managing and maintaining business relationships.
Ensure you understand customer pain points, provide the right solutions and ensure a continuous process of up-selling and cross-selling business solutions.
Be responsible for growing the business by identifying future sales growth areas for existing and new business solutions.
Work with reporting Director to deliver and enhance work processes and protocols, recommend product and service improvements based on client feedback, and create resources to enable continued engagement and increase client satisfaction.
Hold sales target and meet monthly, quarterly and yearly revenue goals.
Budgeting and sales reporting to management.
May be required to work closely with counterparts in Malaysia and Indonesia.
Requirements:
At least 4 years of experience in sales and/or account management. You should ideally have experience in successfully running sales teams in online startups / businesses and have contacts with creative agencies and major brands.
A critical thinker, ability to learn fast and pick up product knowledge on the go. Agency and startup experience is a plus.
Business mindset with a sense of ownership of responsibilities. Must be a team player with proactive attitude, strategic with setting priorities and time management, and have a go-getter attitude.
Able to work with sales targets and be motivated and ambitious to achieve business objectives and goals.
Proficiency in customer experience tools (CRM tools, reporting dashboards).
Demonstrable data-driven sales ability with excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills is a must.
Passionate about the startup culture and able to work well in a fast evolving environment.
Willing and able to travel within Asia as and when needed.
Proficient in both written and spoken English language. Proficiency in Chinese, Malay or Bahasa Indonesia a plus.
Bachelor’s degree (minimum), preferably in Business Management or Marketing.
