Based in Singapore, reporting to the Head of Travel, we are looking for a talented and dynamic Senior/Business Development Manager (Travel) that can be an asset to Mileslife Singapore team. This is a challenging opportunity and a great chance to do some groundbreaking work.
Responsibilities:
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to enable rapid growth of Mileslife business, including but not limited to cruises, hotels and other B2B portals
• Take ownership of the entire sales pipeline from pipeline development, outreach, negotiation, contract drafting and implementation
• Strategically and effectively contribute to revenue growth by crafting new business initiatives such as selling flat-fee packages
• Expand into the EU/US market for activities and tours
• Research, analyze and share sales and market analysis, insights and recommendations to the Singapore team
• Monitor potential competitors closely, ensuring that Mileslife stays competitive locally and in the region
• Gather feedback and make recommendations on how to further improve our product
• Assist with any other ad-hoc projects where necessary (we’re a start up!)
Must Have:
• Startup culture sends adrenalin pumping through your veins
• Rich experience in formulating sales strategy is a must
• At least 5-10 years of experience in B2B sales, direct sales and/or business development in the travel industry, particularly hotels
• Attention to detail, excellent organization skills, able to manage multiple merchant partners
• Demonstrate the ability and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
• Regional sales experience and ability to converse fluently in Chinese is a plus
• Outstanding presentation and communication skills
