We are now looking for a PR Assistant in Singapore looking to kickstart his or her PR career! You are a conversation-starter, a headline-grabber, an attention-getter, a reputation-guarder, and an idea-launcher. Comfortable with both traditional and 'new media' PR, you are excited by the increasing opportunities to support digital and social media aspects. You are driven by excellence. Agency background will be a plus, but not necessary. Responsibilities ● Execution of all PR related activities, including drafting media releases, copywriting, etc. ● Managing stakeholders on a day-to-day basis and implementing program activity in conjunction with team members ● Proactively generate new ideas and opportunities to ensure client program success ● Prepare timely team and internal updates on all stages of project processes ● Responsible for on-budget and on-schedule implementation of assigned projects ● Anticipate and proactively offer solutions to PR Lead on executional issues specific to assigned programs ● Assist and contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans and program recommendations, developing budgets, generating recommendations and creating presentations ● Identify opportunities for team learning and develop tools/suggestions to expand knowledge and understanding of digital communications Requirements ● Minimal degree in BS, BA or related studies (Communication background a plus) ● Ability to work under tight deadlines ● International outlook or experience favourably considered ● Dedication to details and sense of responsibilities ● Excellent written and spoken English ● Excellent copywriting skills ● Ecomm/start-up experience would be helpful but not a deal breaker ● Highly motivated who can work independently and is organised and proactive ● Willing to learn and can thrive in a fast paced, ever changing environment ● Adaptable to change
