Our Business Development Associates are the driving force behind market growth. The key focus of their day-to-day responsibilities will, therefore, be to generate leads, follow up, and close sales opportunities.
They also assist in the onboarding of new clients, as well as contractual and marketing related account management. Each Business Development Associate will be expected to meet monthly sales targets, take on projects as assigned by the management team, and work hand in hand with all other departments to ensure the success of the company.
You will be tasked to:
• Acquire and develop sales opportunities through a combination of channels, including but not limited to, referrals, networking, cold calls, and face-to-face meetings
• Diligently follow up and close sales opportunities
• Build a lasting relationship with restaurant decision-makers to maintain the possibility of future sales
• Constantly relay and generate feedback to manger regarding future product improvements
• Constantly relay and generate feedback to manger regarding future strategic marketing initiatives for new and existing restaurant partners
You must have:
• Passion and enjoy being part of a fast-paced startup
• You collect airline miles instead of stamps and has at least 2 miles credit card in your wallet
• Bachelor degree in Marketing/Business/Commerce is preferred or relevant experiences in lieu
• Prior experience in B2B sales and/or merchant acquisition in a tech, loyalty platform, payment and/or relevant startup environment
• Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and collaboration skills
• Flexible and has high degree of organization and ability to prioritize in a challenging and changing business environment
• Attention to detail and willingness to roll up your sleeves
