You’ll be super hands-on, driving and optimising the execution of brand and marketing strategy.
Working closely with the CEO, you’ll be empowered to conceptualise novel and extraordinarily effective growth strategies, make key decisions and experiment with your strategies.
We’ll rely on you to:
- Create, own and drive lead generation strategies
- Establish rapid experimentation to identify the most effective and efficient ways to grow our sales and user base
- Collaborate on effective content marketing strategies and continuously optimise for results
- Analyse all aspects of the conversion funnel and identify areas of improvement and implement strategies to capitalise on the gaps
- Define, measure and maintain growth & adoption metrics for the product
- Brand strategy wise, ensure compliance with our branding and our vision
- Employ social media as a complement to our brand strategy
- Public relations wise, enable the growth strategies that you’ll employ
- Measure and communicate campaign performance to stakeholders
Qualifications:
- You must embrace the startup life. There is very little structure present - be ready to spread your wings and soar! We want to hear your startup stories!
- Passionate about self-improvement
- Possesses a stoic-like fortitude in the face of failure and is wise enough to always see the silver lining in all things
- A people person, we like people people because we are people people :D
- Extensive general knowledge to facilitate interesting conversations on the daily
- Resourceful, innovative and proactive problem solver who is able to work both collaboratively and independently.
- Minimum 3+ years with an agency/marketing background and leading a cross-functional team
- Bachelor’s / masters degree in marketing/related field
- Having proven success in driving growth and new user acquisition through online and offline marketing in a startup environment
- Able to combine water and wine, the palpable and impalpable bit of marketing. i/e, combining analytical and quantitative driven marketing together with the creative and aesthetic.
