MONO (Manufacturing / Open-innovation / Network / Organizer) Asia startup office MONO is one of Japan’s largest co-working incubation offices for entrepreneurs, especially for hardware startups. It was established in March 2013 as a platform for product development through open innovation along with corporate support. With a background of the measures of the Tokyo’s Special Zone for Asian Headquarters, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government proceeded a project to promote the Tokyo Water Front City as a base of MICE, aiming to welcome foreign enterprises to its region. Under its measure, MONO has been carried out the projects with a strong support by Tokyo Metropolitan Government.

In order to accelerate support for overseas enterprises to enter the Japanese market and to accelerate support for overseas expansion of Japanese companies, MONO decided to form a hub of the start-up ecosystem in Asia and we newly open our office in Singapore as the core of Asia’s start-up ecosystem. With the cooperation of NUS which is the core of the Singapore ecosystem in technology, we decided to set up an office in NUS Enterprise Blk 71 where many startups and their support companies have their offices.

Cooperation In cooperation with NUS enterprise, MONO Singapore will be an information base for connecting hubs in Asia including Japan (Tokyo) and form a network of start-up ecosystems in Asia. Connecting Connecting with Japan and Southeast Asia, MONO Singapore will be the information base to form a small business network.
